7 March 2025: The ITB Berlin 2025 set a new benchmark with a record number of international exhibitors from 165 countries. Demand was particularly strong in the cruise sector, as well as from Southern Europe, Asia, and Africa. The Travel Technology segment also expanded, gaining additional exhibition space in Hall 4.1.
As the official host country, Albania showcased itself under the theme "All Senses" in Halls 3.1 and 4.1. Meanwhile, the ITB Berlin Convention, under the guiding motto "The Power of Transition Lives Here," addressed key global tourism challenges. As a purely B2B platform, the trade fair operated under the theme "The World of Travel Lives Here,"highlighting the entire tourism value chain.
The Asia Hall (Hall 26) was fully booked, with Vietnam, China, and Mongolia expanding their exhibition spaces. Saudi Arabia dominated Hall 4.2, while Egypt strengthened its presence with an impressive 1,500 m² stand in Hall 6.2.
A new addition to Hall 4.1 was the Medical & Health Tourism sector, which has rapidly evolved into a dynamic and influential segment. Key exhibitors included numerous Turkish clinics and associations, along with returning partners such as EHTTA (European Historic Thermal Towns Association), HTI (Health Tourism Industry), and ESPA (European Spas Association). A comprehensive conference program complemented this segment (see program details).
